VALUABLE ACHIEVEMENTS

1.           The team comprising of Mr.Sherwy Correia (Mooter), Riddhi Moghe (Mooter) and Arya Haldankar (Researcher) from V.M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar, was adjudged Runners- Up at the 6th  C.L. Agarwal              Memorial National Moot Court Competition, 2022, organised by Raffles University, Neemrana, Rajasthan, in association with the Rajasthan Education Society. Twenty of the most illustrious colleges in the country participated in the competition. The competition was held from the 26th to the 28th of August 2022.

 

 2.           WINNERS OF DR. CARMO D’SOUZA MEMORIAL GOA STATE LEVEL, MOOT COURT COMPETITION, HELD AT G.R. KARE COLLEGE OF LAW, MARGAO, GOA, ON 22ND OCTOBER, 2022. The team comprised  of   Siddhant Shetye, Rahul Rao & Saloni Parab

 

3.           RUNNERS UP AT DR. CARMO D’SOUZA MEMORIAL GOA STATE LEVEL, MOOT COURT COMPETITION, HELD AT G.R. KARE COLLEGE OF LAW, MARGAO, GOA, ON 22ND OCTOBER, 2022. Team of         Gautami Kamat, Riddhi Moghe, Sakshi Volvoikar

 

4.           ‘BEST MOOTER’- RAHUL RAO adjudged Best Mooter at the Dr. Carmo D’Souza Memorial Goa State Level, Moot Court Competition, held at G.R. Kare College of Law, Margao, Goa, on 22nd October, 2022.

 

5.           RUNNER-UP AND ‘BEST RESEARCHER AWARD’ AT VICTOR DANTAS COLLEGE OF LAW

A team from V.M Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar, won the Runners- up at the 3rd Regional Level Moot Court Competition 2022-2023 organized by Victor Dantas Law College, Kudal Maharashtra. Nine of the most illustrious Colleges from across the region participated in the competition. The competition was held from 19th to 21st January 2023. The team comprised of Ms. Kreanne Diniz (Mooter), Mr. Mark Valadares (Mooter) and Ms. Bhumika Kamat Redkar (Researcher).

Ms. Bhumika Kamat Redkar was also adjudged as ‘Best Researcher’ for the Competition.

 

6.           RUNNER UP AND BEST MEMORIAL AT 3RD NATIONAL VIRTUAL CRIMINAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2022, ORGANISED BY ADHIVAKTA PARISHAD, DELHI HIGH COURT. Team comprising of Ms. Vaishnavi S., Sean Gomes, and Malvina Pinto was awarded Runner up and Best Memorial Prize at the National Virtual Criminal Moot Court Competition held from 5th to 8th November, 2022.

 7.           WINNER OF 13TH GEETA INSTITUTE OF LAW, NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION,PANIPAT, 2023 A team comprising of Ms. Sharlene Fernandes, Ms. Lamisah Almeida, and Mr. Nilay Naik, were adjudged Winners at the 13th National Moot Court Competition organised by Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat Haryana, held from 25-26 February, 2023.

 

 The performance in final was judged by Supreme Court Judge among others. The team was highly appreciated by Supreme Court Judge present for the final round. The Moot Court Competition comprised of 48 teams from different Law Colleges and Universities across India.

 

8.           SECOND RUNNER-UP AT LATE JUSTICE P.B. SAWANT NINETH MEMORIAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2023 The team comprising of Mr. Rishabh Narvekar, Ms. Sahi Pagui, and Ms. Achal Candolkar, won the second Runner-up Award  and Cash Prize of Rs. 18,000/- at the late Justice P.B. Sawant Nineth Memorial National Moot Court Competition held from 12-13th March, 2023, at Shankarrao Chavan Law College, Pune.
