1. THE BEST RESEARCHER AWARD AT THE MOOT COURT COMPETITION. The Moot Court Team of Devi Sharvani Education Society’s V.M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar Goa comprising of 1. Savni Prabhudessai (Mooter) 2. Sahi Pagui (Mooter) 3. Achal Candolkar (Researcher) participated in the 4th National Moot Court Competition organized by the Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow. The college team was selected to participate in the competition based on a selection process of written Arguments. The competition was conducted from the 13th to the 15th of October, 2023.

The Best Researcher Award is bagged by Miss Achal Candolkar. The award was presented by Hon'ble Justice Rajesh Singh Chauhan Sitting Judge of Allahabad High Court, Lucknow Bench.

 

2.           THE BEST MOOTER FEMALE AWARD AT PARRIKAR NATIONAL MOOT COURT AND POLICY HACKATHON, 2024.

The Moot Court Team of Devi Sharvani Education Society’s V.M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar Goa comprising of 1. Trusha Desai (Mooter) 2. Govind Sawant (Mooter) 3. Hiral Kenaudekar (Researcher) Participated in the Parrikar National Moot Court and Policy Hackathon 2024, Goa University Manohar Parrikar School of Law, Governance and Public Policy in Collaboration with the Goa Human Rights Commission. The college team advanced to the semi-finals as the highest- scoring team of each round amongst the 16 National teams. The competition was conducted from the 11th to the 12th of January, 2024.

 


The Best Female Mooter Award is bagged by Miss Trusha Desai. The award was presented by Adv. Cleofat Coutinho in the presence of Hon’ble Shri. Justice Ferdinho Rebello, Former Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court and Hon’ble Shri. Justice R.M.S Khandeparkar, Former Judge of the High Court of Bombay at Goa.

 

3. THE RUNNER-UP PRIZE AT SHRI DATTOPANT THENGADI MEMORIAL 7TH AUMP NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2024.

The Moot Court Team of Devi Sharvani Education Society’s V.M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar Goa Comprising of  1. Sahi Pagui (Mooter) 2. Kreanne Diniz (Mooter) 3. Ummehani Javed (Researcher) Participated in the Shri Dattopant Thengadi Memorial 7th AUMP National Moot Court Competition, 2024, Amity Law School, Amity University Madhya Pradesh. The competition was conducted from the 12th to the 13th of January, 2024.

 


The award was presented by Hon’ble Shri. Justice A.K.Shrivastava, Former Judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court, Major General Vijay Kumar and Sr. Adv. Jayant K.Sud.

4 . WINNERS OF “ASTREA” ORGANISED BY JAYANTILAL H. PATEL LAW COLLEGE, MUMBAI 2024.

VMSCL Moot Court Society Team comprising of Miss. Trusha Desai, Miss Jane De Souza and Miss Ayushi Sardessai, emerged victorious at the prestigious National intercollegiate Moot Court Competition “Astrea” organised by Jayantilal H.Patel Law College Mumbai held from March 1st to 3rd 2024 in Mumbai.
